Palm Beach Challenge
Dear Operators, Coaches and Skaters:
The Stardust Speed Club would like to invite you to attend the Palm Beach Challenge to be held January 18-21, 2008. The contest will be sanctioned by USARS and all USARS rules will apply.
The indoor events will include a Pro/Elite, Elite Divisions and Junior Olympic Divisions. (See attached events list for further details.) Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all Elite Divisions and Junior Olympic Divisions. All Relays will receive awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Pro/Elite will receive cash for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each race and overall depending on entries. The floor is 80 X 180 with fresh roll-on plastic. Atlantis Skateway has plenty of seating and full snackbar for skaters and spectators plus an officials and coaches complementary refreshment room.
The outdoor events will be part of the International Racing Series: RACE 2 skated on the 200 M bank track and Race 3 skated on the 500 and 800 M road track. Ranking points will be issued for both bank track and road races. Monday morning there is the TrueRev Marathon at 7:30 am.
